Calming the storm: new hope for preventing Post-Anesthesia agitation in kids with heart conditions
NCT ID NCT07427446
Summary
This study aims to find the best drug combination to prevent emergence delirium—a state of confusion, agitation, and distress—in children waking up from anesthesia after a heart catheterization. It will compare two different sedative mixes given to 50 children during the procedure. The goal is to see which combination is more effective at ensuring a calmer, smoother recovery for these young patients.
