New combo therapy aims to stop phantom limb pain before it becomes chronic

Summary
This study tests whether combining mirror therapy with mild brain stimulation can prevent phantom limb pain from becoming a long-term problem. About 108 recent amputees will either receive the combo treatment, mirror therapy alone, or standard care. The goal is to stop pain before it becomes chronic.
