Summary
This study tests whether taking a supplement made from inactivated Bacteroides fragilis bacteria can prevent diarrhea caused by chemotherapy. About 200 cancer patients scheduled for certain chemotherapy regimens will be randomly assigned to receive the supplement or a placebo. The goal is to see if this approach reduces the number of people who get diarrhea and how severe it is.
