New dressing aims to slash deadly infections in sick kids

Summary

This study tests whether a special germ-killing dressing can prevent serious bloodstream infections from catheters in children in intensive care. About 250 children will be randomly assigned to get either the special dressing or a standard one. The goal is to see if the special dressing leads to fewer infections and skin problems.
