First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving children a medicated mist (lidocaine or salt water) just before tonsil surgery can lower the chance of breathing problems afterward. About 90 children aged 1.5 to 16 years will take part. The goal is to see if these simple treatments can prevent oxygen drops and coughing after the operation.
