Summary

This study is testing a medication called DefenCath, which is placed inside the dialysis catheter, to see if it can prevent serious bloodstream infections in children and teenagers with kidney failure. It will compare DefenCath to the usual care methods. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and helps children stay infection-free longer while they receive life-saving dialysis treatments.
