New study aims to prevent Life-Threatening clots in hospitalized teens

Summary
This study tests whether a blood thinner called enoxaparin can prevent dangerous blood clots in critically ill teenagers in the intensive care unit. About 802 teens aged 12-18 who are at high risk for clots will receive either enoxaparin or a placebo. The goal is to see if the drug reduces clot risk without causing serious bleeding.
