First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tested a new oral blood thinner (SHR2285) against a standard injection (enoxaparin) to prevent dangerous blood clots after total knee replacement. The trial planned to enroll 64 adults aged 40-75, but was terminated early. The goal was to see if the pill was as safe and effective as the injection in preventing clots and major bleeding.
