New approach aims to make lung biopsies safer for transplant recipients

NCT ID NCT06422273

Summary

This study is testing if applying a common anti-bleeding medication directly to the lungs before a biopsy can reduce the risk of bleeding. It involves 94 adults who have received a lung transplant. Researchers will compare the medication to a saline solution to see which one works better at preventing bleeding during the procedure.
