Summary
This study tests a 6-week group program called PrevED MR that uses mixed reality and virtual reality to teach emotion regulation skills to teens and young adults at risk for eating disorders. The program includes 12 sessions combining therapy exercises with immersive experiences. Researchers will measure changes in eating disorder symptoms, body image acceptance, and emotion regulation in 72 participants randomly assigned to the program or a waiting list.
