NCT ID NCT07191678
Summary
This study aims to understand how blood transfusions and different feeding methods affect the gut health of very premature babies. Researchers will observe 270 infants to see how blood flow and oxygen levels in the gut change. The goal is to learn more about the causes of a serious bowel disease called NEC, which can be fatal for preterm infants.
