First seen Feb 23, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study tests a new, swallowable pill-sized device called PressureDOT that measures pressure inside the belly. It is for ICU patients who already need pressure monitoring. The goal is to see if the pill is as safe and accurate as the standard method using a bladder tube, and how long it takes to pass out of the body.
