Summary

This study tests whether giving a drink with carbohydrates and nitrates before open gynecological surgery helps patients recover faster and leave the hospital sooner. About 90 women aged 18-60 will be randomly assigned to receive either the carb-nitrate drink or a carb-only drink before surgery. The main goal is to see if the combination drink shortens hospital stay.
