Summary

This study tested whether a single 90-minute counseling session before birth helps first-time mothers feel more confident about their feeding choices and improves breastfeeding. 112 pregnant women in Iran took part, with half receiving the counseling and half getting standard care. Researchers measured decision-making confidence and breastfeeding success up to two months after birth.
