Can a simple X-Ray predict your braces treatment?

NCT ID NCT07095374

Summary

This study aims to see if the tilt of certain teeth seen on a standard dental X-ray can help predict how much a patient's upper jaw will widen with a palatal expander device. Researchers will look back at the records and X-rays of 200 patients who have already had this common orthodontic treatment. The goal is to gather knowledge that might help dentists plan treatments more precisely in the future.
