Summary

This study tested whether taking a combination of trypsin, bromelain, and rutoside before a root canal helps the numbing shot work better and lowers pain afterward. 124 adults with painful tooth inflammation (pulpitis) took the medication or a placebo before treatment. Researchers measured pain levels during the procedure and for a week after. The goal is to find a safer alternative to standard painkillers or steroids for dental pain.
