Summary
This study looks at whether a simple blood test done in the ambulance can safely rule out a heart attack in people with chest pain. About 500 adults with symptoms of a heart attack will have a small blood sample tested with a portable device. The results won't change their care right now, but researchers will check how well the test predicts heart problems within 30 days. If successful, this approach could help avoid unnecessary hospital visits for low-risk patients.
