First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a personalized exercise program (aerobic and resistance training) done in the weeks before CAR-T therapy can improve physical fitness and quality of life in people aged 60 and older with multiple myeloma that has returned or not responded to treatment. About 20 participants will follow the program and be monitored for changes in muscle strength, physical performance, and well-being. The goal is to see if this prehabilitation approach is feasible and helps patients better tolerate CAR-T therapy.
