First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a short nutrition and exercise program before cancer treatment is practical and helpful for American Indian patients. About 30 adults with any cancer type will eat walnuts and increase their walking for at least 3 weeks before starting treatment. Researchers will measure changes in blood and tissue markers of inflammation to see if the program has an early effect.
