Can a 'Prehab' Tune-Up help frail seniors survive surgery better?

NCT ID NCT07465159

Summary

This small pilot study is testing if a special pre-surgery program can help frail patients aged 70 and older recover better from elective hip or knee replacement. The program includes tailored exercises, nutrition advice, and a medication review. Researchers will check if the program is practical to run and look for early signs it improves strength, reduces complications, and boosts quality of life after surgery.
