Listening to mothers: study aims to improve pregnancy care for women with complex health needs

NCT ID NCT07207759

Summary

This study aims to understand the experiences of pregnant women who have two or more long-term health conditions, such as diabetes or heart disease, and the midwives who care for them. Researchers will conduct interviews with about 80 women and healthcare staff to learn what works well and what could be better. The goal is to use these real-life stories to co-design better guidance and resources for future maternity care.
