Summary
This study compared two similar pain medications, pregabalin and gabapentin, given to patients before leg surgery. Researchers wanted to see which drug provided longer-lasting pain relief after surgery and reduced the need for strong opioid painkillers. The study involved 142 adults having lower limb orthopedic procedures under spinal anesthesia.
