National push to screen 80,000 pregnant women for dangerous pregnancy condition
NCT ID NCT07485140
Summary
This large national study in Denmark is testing whether a new first-trimester screening program can better identify pregnant women at high risk for preeclampsia, a serious blood pressure condition. The goal is to prevent the condition by offering early preventive treatment, like low-dose aspirin, to those found to be at high risk. Researchers will roll out the screening program across hospitals and compare pregnancy outcomes before and after it starts.
