First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study compares two ways to help children breathe after a breathing tube is removed. One group gets a special high-speed air device through the nose, and the other gets standard oxygen. The goal is to see which method reduces the need to put the breathing tube back in within 48 hours. About 100 children aged 2 months to 13 years who have been on a ventilator for at least 24 hours will take part.
