Blood test ratios may forecast stroke outcomes
NCT ID NCT07471061
First seen Mar 14, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study will check if three simple blood test ratios (monocyte-to-albumin, neutrophil-to-albumin, and total white blood cell-to-albumin) can predict how severe a stroke is and how well patients recover. Researchers will follow 60 adults with acute ischemic stroke, measuring stroke severity at admission and functional recovery over time. The goal is to see if these cheap, widely available tests can help doctors plan better care.
