Can a simple calculator tell men if prostate surgery will work?

NCT ID NCT07277556

Summary

This study aims to find out which simple, non-invasive tests done before surgery can best predict whether a man with an enlarged prostate (BPH) will have a successful outcome from a standard surgical procedure called TURP. Researchers will collect routine pre-surgery data from 200 men and see how it relates to their recovery after surgery. The goal is to create a calculator to help doctors and patients make better-informed decisions about whether to proceed with surgery.
