AI tool aims to forecast who will suffer pain again after nerve surgery
NCT ID NCT07238244
Summary
This study aims to create a computer model that can predict which patients with a severe facial pain condition (trigeminal neuralgia) are most likely to have their pain return after a specific surgical procedure. Researchers will look back at the medical records, scans, and surgery details of 700 past patients to find patterns and build this prediction tool. The goal is to help doctors and future patients better understand the risks of pain recurrence before choosing this treatment.
