Summary
This study looked at over 1000 liver cancer patients who had surgery to see if a computer model could predict who would benefit from additional chemotherapy directly into the liver (TACE). The goal was to help doctors decide which patients should get the extra treatment and which should just be monitored. The researchers used past patient data to build and test their prediction tool.
