Simple blood test may predict Kids' surgery sickness
NCT ID NCT07148063
Summary
This study aims to find out if simple blood tests taken before surgery can help predict which children will feel sick or vomit afterwards. It will observe 170 children, aged 1 to 8, who are having a common procedure to correct an undescended testicle. The goal is to see if signs of inflammation in the blood are linked to a higher chance of post-surgery nausea.
