First seen Feb 20, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looks at whether doctors can predict a condition called stridor (noisy, difficult breathing) after removing a breathing tube in patients who had jaw surgery. The researchers will measure the width of the airway using a special test before removing the tube. The goal is to find a way to identify patients at risk, so they can be monitored more closely. The study involves 62 adults undergoing elective jaw surgery.
