Scientists hunt for blood clues to predict sports injuries before they happen
NCT ID NCT06888635
Summary
This study aims to discover early warning signs in the body that might predict when an athlete is at risk for a sports injury. Researchers will analyze blood, urine, and stool samples from 60 athletes aged 12-30 who have recently suffered an acute injury. The goal is to find biological markers that could one day help prevent injuries through better training and monitoring.
