Simple eye scan could warn of Post-Spinal headache risk
NCT ID NCT07497945
Summary
This study aims to see if a quick, non-invasive eye ultrasound can help predict which patients might get a headache after receiving spinal anesthesia for a cesarean section. Researchers will measure the optic nerve sheath in 220 women before and after their C-section and then check if they develop a headache. The goal is to find a way to identify at-risk patients early so they can get better care.
