Simple health checks may predict dangerous side effects for seniors getting powerful cancer therapies
NCT ID NCT07309497
Summary
This study aims to see if simple health checks before advanced cancer treatments can predict severe side effects in patients aged 65 and older. Researchers will test mobility, memory, and self-care skills in 208 older adults scheduled for CAR-T cell or bispecific antibody therapy. The goal is to create a standard screening tool to help doctors better assess risks and improve patients' quality of life.
