Can a computer predict your recovery time after joint surgery?
NCT ID NCT07304323
Summary
This study aims to build a computer model that can predict how long patients will need inpatient rehabilitation after hip or knee replacement surgery for osteoarthritis. Researchers will analyze medical records from 400 patients who had surgery in 2018 to identify factors that influence recovery time. The goal is to help hospitals plan better and personalize care, but this study itself does not provide treatment to participants.
