First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looked at 210 pregnant women hospitalized for threatened preterm labor between 24 and 34 weeks. Researchers measured specific immune cells in the blood to see if they could predict which women would deliver within 7 days. The goal is to find better markers than current methods to help doctors manage preterm labor more accurately.
