First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looked at 210 pregnant women hospitalized for preterm labor between 24 and 34 weeks. Researchers measured specific immune cells in their blood to see if these could predict whether they would deliver within 7 days. The goal is to find a more accurate way to identify women at highest risk, improving care and reducing unnecessary interventions.
