Brain games aim to predict language growth in autistic kids

NCT ID NCT06332144

Summary

This study aimed to understand how children's ability to learn patterns from speech and print might predict their future language and reading skills. Researchers followed 41 first-graders, some with autism and some without, over three months. They used computer games and brain scans to see if a child's pattern-learning skill could forecast their improvement in speaking and reading.
