Summary
This study looks at whether a rectal swab can help predict which intensive care patients are at risk of infections from hard-to-treat bacteria. Researchers will test 1,000 adults in the ICU and track how often those with a negative swab still develop an infection. The goal is to improve how doctors manage and prevent these serious infections.
