Summary
This study looks at whether a quick ultrasound of the carotid artery, done an hour before a planned C-section, can predict two common problems: a dangerous drop in blood pressure during surgery and a severe headache afterward. Researchers will measure blood flow in the neck and track 90 pregnant women to see if this test can help doctors prepare and choose safer anesthesia methods.
