Summary
This study looks at whether a new type of ECG (called wavECG) can help predict which patients will develop an irregular heartbeat (atrial fibrillation) after open-heart surgery. Researchers will follow 353 adults having heart surgery for the first time. The goal is to improve prediction and prevention of this common complication.
