Can scans and blood tests predict cancer treatment success?

NCT ID NCT07259915

Summary

This study aims to see if combining different types of medical scans (CT, MRI, PET) with a special blood test that detects tiny amounts of cancer DNA can predict how well a patient's head and neck cancer will respond to standard chemo-radiation treatment. Researchers will enroll 152 patients with specific types of advanced head and neck cancer who are scheduled to receive this treatment. The goal is to create a better prediction tool to help guide future care decisions.
