Eye doctors test calculator to predict who needs two surgeries
NCT ID NCT07265388
Summary
This study aims to test and improve a tool called the SUCCESS Score. The tool helps predict whether patients with Fuchs dystrophy, who are having cataract surgery, will also need a follow-up corneal transplant. Researchers are enrolling 250 patients across Spain to see how well the score works in real-world clinics and if adding a new measurement makes it more accurate.
