NCT ID NCT06408116

First seen Mar 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 04, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tests how well PET/CT scans, along with other imaging, can define the exact edges of esophageal cancer before and after treatment. Researchers will compare these images to the actual tumor removed during surgery. The goal is to improve surgical planning and ensure all cancer is removed. About 30 adults with early-stage esophageal cancer will participate.
