Summary

This study develops a tool using 3D-CT scans to predict which infants with Pierre Robin sequence (a condition with a small jaw and tongue that can block the airway) will have a difficult time placing a breathing tube during surgery. Researchers will test the model on 294 infants to see if it accurately identifies those at risk. The goal is to help doctors plan safer anesthesia and reduce complications.
