Scientists hunt for clues to make cancer drugs work better for more people

NCT ID NCT07259226

Summary

This international study aims to find better ways to predict which patients with advanced breast, lung, bladder, or stomach cancer will benefit from a newer type of targeted cancer drug called antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). Researchers will collect blood and tumor samples from 400 patients before and during treatment to look for biological markers that signal whether the treatment is working or if resistance is developing. The goal is to help doctors choose the right drug for each patient and understand why treatments sometimes stop working.
