Eye scan may warn of Spinal-Tap headaches after birth

NCT ID NCT07497945

Summary

This study aims to see if a simple, non-invasive eye ultrasound can predict which women will get a severe headache after spinal anesthesia for a cesarean section. Researchers will measure the width of the optic nerve sheath in 220 women before and after their C-section. The goal is to find a way to spot patients at risk early so they can get better care and relief.
