First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study will check if measuring the neck vein's collapse and a finger pulse reading before a planned C-section can predict a dangerous drop in blood pressure after spinal anesthesia. About 110 pregnant women having elective C-sections will be observed. The goal is to find a simple, non-invasive way to identify high-risk patients early.
