First seen Mar 11, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a non-invasive device that measures blood flow changes in the finger can predict a sudden drop in blood pressure after patients receive anesthesia. Researchers will observe 110 adults having a routine throat exam under general anesthesia. The goal is to see if these measurements can help doctors prevent low blood pressure, which can be dangerous.
