Summary
This study tested whether a special type of education, based on the transtheoretical model, could help women ages 18-49 improve risky lifestyle behaviors before becoming pregnant. 108 women who were sexually active and planning pregnancy within 2 years took part. The goal was to see if this education could reduce behaviors that might harm future pregnancies.
