NCT ID NCT02653755

First seen Jan 16, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study looks at whether certain women with early-stage, low-risk breast cancer can avoid radiation after a lumpectomy. About 671 participants with small, hormone-receptor-positive, HER2-negative tumors are being followed for five years to see how often the cancer comes back in the same breast. The goal is to find out who can safely skip radiation without increasing their risk of recurrence.
